I’m still here!
Still sewing and still blogging!
Click here for 2013, 2014 & 2015‘s Handmade Wardrobe Additions if you missed them and carry on reading to see what I created in 2016 – this year I’ve included almost everything I’ve made, including gifts, so it’s not just my handmade wardrobe.
I’m hoping to take things slowly this year. Learn new techniques and focus on quality rather than quantity.
There are links to each relevant blog posts attached to each photograph (if I’ve written one!).
Thanks for stopping by!

I won this fabric and made up a top from the Simply Sew collection with looks ok off but not on! I need to find a new owner for this as it’s lovely but does nothing for me!

A slouchy bag – I gave this to one of my besties for her to use as a beach bag. It was hard to part with it!

Simplicity 1783
Two self drafted tops. The one on the left has been worn quite a lot but the sleeveless bright one has only made one or 2 appearance. Enjoyed making them though and learnt quite a bit in the process. (unblogged)
Simplicity 1783

Another Brooklyn Hoodie from SBCC. This was made using 2 old fleeces from my works uniform. This is probably the most worn item in 2016. I didn’t add the band or the front pocket. Instead I used the zip welt pocket from the original jacket.
This was a bit of a wadder! A hack of Vogue 8805 that although is well sewn and it fit, I never actually ‘loved’ it so never added a closure to it and made it wearable. (no blog post!)

Style Arc Misty Pull On Jeans – aka Jeggings!

Hexie Caddy – One of the most useful things I’ve made this year. Click on the photo for the link to the tutorial – not mine!!
