Last week I subscribed to Sew Direct – a website which offers 50% off Vogue, Butterick & McCalls patterns. It cost £7.50 per quarter and for that you get your first 2 patterns free and a monthly magazine, as well as the discounted patterns. The magazines got sewing tips in as well as lovely inspiring pix.

Just need some fabric now, tho for the trousers I have some flowery slinky jersey which I might use to make a wearable muslin. Exciting times!
