#Sunday Sevens week 54 (me 29)

Being a shift worker I don’t get that Friday feeling, but I don’t get Monday morning blues either. I don’t usually know what day it is and once marked one of my patients down as being confused as he thought it was Thursday when I thought it was Monday.  He was right.  His wife corrected me!

But Sunday Sevens keep me on track and gives me some order to my week.  Except now it is Tuesday and I’m posting my Sunday Sevens.  Oops.

1   I’m cheating a bit with this first photo.  About a month ago I was I Leeds and the Rugby World Cup tour was there. I took this pic but then forgot about it, and as it’s the start of the world cup this week and England are hosting I thought I’d share it with you.#sundaysevens 163 (6)

4. Worked all my 3 shifts on the ambulance instead of the rapid response this week.  Took this picture on the way to a job.  The scenery was stunning, unfortunately this was the best I could do as we were shifting!

6. Playing golf at Keighley with 11 guys from work. Bit if of a mottly crew but had a great day and a lot of laughs.

7. Out for Ann’s 50th – one of the cricket mums.  We’ve missed her this year as her boy got selected for the Yorkshire A team so we’ve missed her in the B team.  He’s even bigger than H!!

Finally here’s my progress so far in the couch to 5k.  I’m halfway through! yay!!  Feeling fitter, but not really weighing or measuring any less!!??

I sew and play golf. I blog about my sewing as I don't think you'd want to read about my golf. It's bad enough watching it on telly! Contact me via email - Thimbers.blog@gmail.com

    • Will do, thanks for the encouragement! It’s a bit hard sometimes with the whole blogging thing sometimes. I’m so behind with my blog reading as well as writing! Hope to see yours again soon 😃

  1. So impressed with your fitness regimen – good for you keeping at it. And having the tracker must be super helpful. I’ll bet your sweet elephant top draws compliments every time you wear it….simply adorable! Such gorgeous surroundings……….

    • It does thanks! It’s been out again today. Luckily I’ve a few things coming up so I’m going to be wearing it quite a bit. The trackers fab, I can’t believe how many calories I’ve burnt off, more cake!! 😃

  2. Lovely greens this week, both the spinach & the grass. 😉 Huge congratulations on your sticking to your exercise regime!!! You might not be seeing changes in inches, but are you less tired than you used to be? (Don’t count after your runs!) Do you sleep more soundly (when there’s no construction outside)? Those dividends also count! he-hee! 😘

  3. I always end up eating more when I exercise more! Glad your sleep’s better, how about your head? Not sure if you’re a worrier like me, but exercise works wonders for clearing out my mental clutter. My head’s always a nicer place to be afterwards 🙂

    • All my clutters in my tiny sewing room! My mind seems to ping wide awake as my head hits the pillow – at the moment I’m building an extension in my sleep!!! I don’t worry so much as just find it hard to switch off 😁

I’m always confused about what day it is – and I don’t work shifts. Well done on the 5k – keep at it. I’m having the same challenge of working at it but not seeing much change on the scales or tape measure. But I figure if calories out if greater that calories in eventually it will show.

Do I spy a new VNA top? If it is you need to blog it as I’m obsessed with them at the moment!
