I think if I didn’t offer an explanation for this one, only my mum would guess the connection for this week’s photo challenge.
On Wednesday I worked a 12/12 shift, so should have finished at midnight. Unfortunately due to the nature of my work we don’t alway finish on time and last night was one of those times. I left work 1 1/2 hours after my planned finish time. So a very tired Thimbers climbed into her car after working an “extra” 90 minutes on top of her 12 hours. On a positive note the extra dosh earnt will be spent on an extra glass of Mateus Rosé in Portugal!
Linking in again with the 52 Week Photo Challenge from:
Ninety minutes of work = one glass of wine. Seems quite a big price to pay when you put it like that. However, in Portugal you will probably get at least two glasses for the same ‘price’ so it doesn’t seem quite so bad.
A glass or 2, it won’t pay for a round as they’re quite a thirsty bunch of ladies who I’m going with!
I hope it’s a big glass!
I might just get a straw depending on how the holiday goes! 🙂
Lol! Do hope you’ve recovered from that long stretch & are ready for something fun on your weekend. **Know** you’re planning a grand time in Portugal, and you deserve to enjoy every minute! 😀
I’m ready for fun!! And I’m not in work until next Friday!!! 😉
Wo-hoooo!!!
Ooooh, that is a delightful “extra”! Although, I have to agree that it was a long stretch getting there. Hopefully tall glass, and yes, a nice bendy straw to facilitate. Have loads of fun in Portugal and we will all enjoy your trip vicariously through pictures!
I will but still awhile before I go, I counting the sleeps! 😀
Crikey! That’s a long shift! Your reward is well deserved! Great entry for ‘Extra’.
Thankyou, just counting the days now till i go! 🙂
👍
