As well as few pics from this week, I thought I’d add a few extra ones too. I’ll explain as I go along!
You might know that about a year ago after working on the rapid response car for 10 years I went back to working on the ambulances. As a result I have adopted a little sister – Bex. I work over half my shifts with her. She’s so lovely and the 10 hour shifts with her just fly by.
Living the dream when we ended up having our break out of area! trying out the panoramic shot – If there was 2 of Bex I’d love them both! We even manage to keep smiling on the night shift! Never a dull moment, not even in the supermarket! A girlie night in at Bex’s This week we met Jesus – the dog!
As well as a work little sister I’ve adopted a work son too. Aaron. He’s a newly qualified paramedic and is from the other side of the pennines so has no family over her, so I mother him a bit, and he comes for tea and we have the occasional gin night.

And not forgetting my proper family. Cyber mum and pops are doing well, and little H is now 6’5″π
Bit of a do at mine……

I need glasses – a little bit for reading and definitely for sewing. These aren’t what I’ve chosen, I’m wearing the cheapo pound ones at the minute, not sure if these are my styleπ

Just after Christmas I took H to London for 3 nights. He’d never been before and we had a fab time.

I think bumping into some Chelsea football players in the hotel lift was the highlight of his weekend!

Cake has as usual played at part this week – I’m trying to cut down but it’s soooo hard. I’ve discovered how easy American pancakes are to make! I’d be proper skinny if I didn’t have such a sweet tooth. Yes I spilt my cream at Nando’s but they were really good and brought me another!
I’ve been healthy too – eggy bread this morning for breakfast!

That’s about it for this week, I’ll leave you with this one – if you can’t decide on gin or coffee have both! Cheers!

Cheerio for now

Is that Little H going to stop growing? How lovely to have good work mates, such a difference it makes to work. Lovely to see Cyber Mum again, please pass on my good wishes.
Little H is 18 this summer, apparently boys can keep growing until theyβre 21π. Hope youβre keeping well Cathy, and yes Iβll pass on your good wishes xx
Great to read your blog. Nothing beats having good work buddies, I retired seven years ago, but still meet up with my old team and we laugh and laugh π. Have a good week.
Thanks Pauline I will! And yes work buddies are the best! Well, nearly as good as sewing ones π
Lovely to see you blogging again. Love the fringe! Sounds like you’re having a ball. Can’t beat good friends at work. I can’t believe the size of little H and great to see your mum and dad doing well π x
Thanks Bekki, the fringe was a bit of a gamble, if not really had one before but Iβm definitely liking it. It hides the grey room coming throughπ.
True. And the wrinkles when they arrive π
Iβve not signed up for wrinkles, just the grey hair π©β𦳠π
Me neither, but sometimes ‘they’ give you them anyway. Although I’m sure neither of us ever frown, so we should be safe from the forehead ones at least.

Great post and week! I’ve gotten mine up, too, keepin’ ya company. xxx
Thanks for the company Delππ
You’re good company ti be in! ππ
Lovely to see you all well and happy. It’s a rare job that makes going to work a joyful thing and the people you work with can make or break it – looks like you’re on a winner x
I certainly am, I love my actual job, but with the right people it really doesnβt feel like work πππππππ
Good for you to have nice workmates–it makes all the difference. I just deny not being slim, so that way the sweets don’t have to feel sorry for themselves for being blamed for it–
