A Competition Ladies!!!

I’ve just stumbled across a competition whilst making tea.  Well, I should’ve been  making the tea but like most of you I am easily distracted, I’m still at the deciding stage!

CroftMill are running a competition for those of us who are making a party or posh frock! Click here to find out more! And what’s even better is it doesn’t matter whether or not you bought the fabric from them!

SEWCHET……you need to enter your posh frock! I bet it looks amazing!  I think I might enter my Colette Wren!

More good news!! Hubby just rung to say he’s on his way home, I’ve suggested going to the local……2 meals for a tenner! Off we go…..!

See ya & good luck 🍀🍀🍀

PS they’ve not asked me to spread the word and I won’t be a judge or anything, I’m just sharing the sewing love! ❤️

I sew and play golf. I blog about my sewing as I don't think you'd want to read about my golf. It's bad enough watching it on telly! Contact me via email - Thimbers.blog@gmail.com

  1. Enjoy your tenner-meal!
And thank you for this info – even if not for over the pond, it’s another fabric store to add to my little listy! 😘

  2. Glad I’m not the only one who gets easily distracted whilst I’m supposed to be making tea! No posh dresses to enter here, but you should def. enter. Let us know how you get on…

  3. Turquoise isn’t on the list of colours allowed, alas! However, red is, and I did make a red ball gown a while back….

    • I’m sure if you tweak the white balance on the photo that it may look a bit emeraldy! Or add a couple of sequins!! And enter your red one too! 👗

      • No, £6 UK inland!! Bit steep I thought. Especially when my sister lives in Colne and could pick it up from the warehouse! Once a Yorkshire girl, always a Yorkshire girl!

        • I bet they’d let her pick it up. I once rang as I was over that way and thought it was a shop as well as online. She said they accept visitors if they have a bit of notice.
My sister used to live in Colne, in Laneshawbridge, we’ll be related at this rate! 😃
